Mohammad Ali passed away...
The legendry actor Mohammad Ali passed away on March 19, 2006.
Indian films Taj Mehal and Bride & Prejudice (which
was released as "Balley Balley") could not impress Pakistani cinegores and they
were totally flopped. But the classic film Mughal-e-Azam has
an average business in Pakistan's major Urdu speaking city - Karachi. This film
was flopped in the rest of the country. Distributors lost a huge amount
and therefore the release of other planned Indian films were postponed.
Singers: Famous singer Humaira Arshad composed music in her first film Gunahon
ka Shehar. Actors: Pashto top actor Shahid Khan appeared in his first Punjabi
film as hero in Mahi
aawe ga.

Film Story
Shaan plays Zill-e-Shah - an unhappily married man belonging to the
revered Syed clan who falls in love with a courtesan, Taari (Saima), when
she performs in his village. His wife (Madiha Shah) and family straightaway
condemn the budding relationship, thereby leading to a conflict that keeps
the audience entertained for three hours straight.
Director of this film Syed Noor married heroine Saima during this film.

This great film is still running and have
crossed diamond
jubilee (100 weeks) in Lahore's cinemas. This film also
completed solo silver jubilees on its two main cinemas Metropole and Sozo
